Mode pro
Modes sélection et film — grille + grande prévisualisation, étiquettes couleur, DIR / import carte. Personnes, EXIF, ton, palette, retouche photo/vidéo, couvertures et groupes en overlays ; extensions selon build.
Ouvrir PROFESSOR ; basculer sélection/film ; ouvrir les rolls via Recent ou DIR ; étiquettes et flèches ; People, EXIF (I), Edit (E). Ci-dessous overlays et scénarios.
Main operations and scenarios
Common on-site and post paths; follow in-app toolbars for details.
- Card import after a shoot
- Insert SD/CF → open PROFESSOR (selection).
- Use Recent or DIR Pick / card-import shortcuts into today’s roll.
- Cull with color tags on grid + large preview; eject the card when done and keep selecting.
- On-site fast culling
- Arrow keys / browse hotkeys; color-tag digits (Bluetooth keyboard recommended).
- Focus the main browser; some hotkeys pause while overlays are open—close them and click the main area.
- Optional parallel picks: tag on Mac, sync to the miniprogram, then pull marks back.
- People and covers
- Toolbar People → assign overlay; tap a mini-card for detail.
- Context “Set as cover” for album covers; optional cover background.
- Works with People library / roll visitor binding when shipped.
- Read metadata and light edit
- I for EXIF; tone / content analysis; O for palette.
- E for lightweight image edit → export to the retouch folder.
- Videos use preview controls and video edit; pose overlay usually off for video.
- Snapshot Disk offline review
- Without the source volume, open PHOTOX from DIR Photographer or the Flow Snapshot Disk channel.
- Browse, tag, and organize; access may follow Snapshot Disk unlock rules in Settings.
Main overlays
PROFESSOR centers on selection and film surfaces; many tools appear as overlays on the preview and grid. The table lists common overlays (Mac build; remappable under Settings → Hotkeys → PROFESSOR).

Browse hotkeys may pause while an overlay is open; after closing, click the main browser before arrows and color tags.
Film mode
Film mode treats the current folder as a roll or sheet of film: frames appear as film cards on a light table—suited to browsing, archiving, or delivering by roll. It sits beside selection mode (grid + large preview); switch from the toolbar anytime.
What you see
- Light table: film cards in a grid; drag to reorder; stack versions in one cell (e.g. JPG + TIFF).
- Film sleeve header: edit roll description, shoot date, scan date, and author notes above the preview.
- Formats: 135, 120, Polaroid, and free layout (custom columns × rows); adjustable card size.
- Layout lock: freeze the arrangement to avoid accidental drags.
- Film box: link an external film-box file and page index for multi-roll archives (path in Settings).
What you can do
- Switch to Film mode from the toolbar.
- Open Film settings (gear), pick format and card size, then apply.
- Fill shoot / scan dates and notes in the film-sleeve header.
- Drag cards to reorder or stack; lock the layout when you want it fixed.
