Snapshot Disk
A Snapshot Disk is a lightweight local shoot mirror (PHOTOX packages in the work folder) so you can browse, tag, and organize in PROFESSOR without the source volume mounted. Storage has a dedicated Snapshot Disk section and snapshot cards for create/continue, sync, action sets, and progress (creatable / source online / offline / in progress). Sync writes snapshot arrangements back to the mounted source; scan fills gaps from source into the snapshot. Action sets may cover tags, deletes, people, and roll moves, then write back when the source is online.
Open Storage → Snapshot Disk: create if none, sync or continue if a package exists; optionally re-tag synced albums, fill missing folders, or extract person markers. In PROFESSOR, browse via DIR Snapshot Disk or the Flow channel (disk → season/top layer → album). Access can be gated in Settings → PROFESSOR Snapshot Disk unlock rules (sign-in, Touch ID, content check; timeout and lock-after-card-import).
